Terms and conditions of sale

Haydon Artists’ Society act purely as an advertiser and contact point for the artists who are members of the society.

Contract of Sale

The contract for the purchase and dispatch of artwork is between the purchaser and artist. Therefore Haydon Artists’ Society accept no liability for any disagreements, or discrepancies between the artist and the purchaser.

Haydon Artists’ Society makes every effort to ensure that the description of the artwork on the website is accurate and fair at the time it is published. The description of the art work including price, information about the medium, has been supplied to the Society by the artist and the Society accepts no responsibility for any inaccuracies in the description. You are advised to check the full description of the artwork with the artist.

Copies and prints of the artwork by the customer are permitted only with prior permission in writing of the artist.

Postal Delivery

The cost of postage to any UK address is included in the price. Whilst it is expected that your item will arrive within 7 days of payment being received, please allow up to 21 days for the delivery of your item.

Time for delivery is not of the essence. Delivery dates are estimates only and the seller will not be liable for any loss to the customer or any third party for any delay in transit.

If you require delivery by any means other than Royal Mail then this must be discussed with the artist and additional costs may be incurred

Description of Artwork

IMPORTANT – Colour Matching

Although all possible precautions have been taken to get as close to natural colour as possible when photographing these images. We cannot guarantee exact colour match. This is due to different computer screen settings and lighting conditions.

Fading

We cannot guarantee that these products will not fade, but suggest that they are kept away from direct sunlight.

Framed Paintings

Whist every effort will be made to ensure that frames will be in good condition, there may be imperfections.

Information required

If you are interested in purchasing any artwork then contact Haydon Artists by emailing sales@haydonartists.co.uk with details of the artist and painting you are interested in purchasing and supply the following contact details – email address, telephone and/or mobile phone number. The details will then be passed to the artist. Please note that not all of our members have access to email.
