'Miniatures' talk by Lyn Collier

A talk and demonstration about the art of painting miniatures was held on Thursday 21st September 2006.

Lyn Collier is a 'miniatures' artist and a member of the miniatures society. She is a very knowledgeable speaker who enthralled us with a brief history of miniatures and in depth knowledge about the materials and techniques use to create a miniature picture. She allowed us to look at her paintings which she has created in watercolour and oil. Following this she demonstrated the process of creating a miniature.
