Our Autumn Exhibition was held at the Parish Council Offices from the 22nd October until 2nd November, 2008.
Our members submitted new artwork and this was one of our most successful exhibitions. We sold a record number of paintings.
This year our Society decided to hold an art competition for local schoolchildren. The winners' prize would be to have their paintings framed by members of the Society (Roy, Norman and Rob), and these would form part of our Exhibition. Only pupils from Haydonleigh School took part. The winners have their paintings displayed on page 11. We have been asked not to identify the artists.
We asked visitors to select their favourite painting and the winner was:
