Favourite Media: Watercolour and a bit
of acrylic.
Preferred Subjects: I like copying other paintings
as you get to appreciate other peoples' work and begin to think like
they would.
Favourite Painter: Norman Rockwell who is an american
artist; who used to do illustrations for the Saturday Evening Post.
He has a museum in Massachusetts, although I have not been, I have read
most of his books. I remember being able to get a copy of the paper
during the war, because my neighbour worked at W.H. Smiths and handled
the papers for the US troops stationed here, so we were given copies
of them.

Top Tips: When doing watercolour, try not to use too
much pigment, use plenty of water, as it gives it a better watercolour
effect.
Inspiration: I never really know. Perhaps a painting
that is going well inspires me and I start to like what I am doing.
One out of four inspire me and the rest go in the bin.
